The building known as the Casino and Circulo de Artistas (Artists Society) is located on the north side of Ronda's Plaza del Socorro. This is a charming corner of the town where tourists enjoy their lunch, unaware that they are in the company of one of Andalucia's most famous historical venues.

- Rueda De Casino originated in Cuba's Havana or Santiago gambling casinos in the early 1960s. It represents a marraige of the European contradance and the recently emerged mambo craze. (Attributions to choreographer Jorge Alfaro are dubious, since he was born in 1960.).

- Rueda De Casino Cuban Salsa. Last edited: Friday, October 11, 2019. This is one of our weekly Sunday Rueda event. It is held under the Rotunda in the Glebe Park.
In 1918, Blas Infante, known as the Father of Andalucia, held the first Andalusian Assembly in this buiding. The bright new regional flag was unveiled at this event as well, making it all the more significant. If you enter the patio on the ground floor (just ask the janitor) you'll see on the wall a plaque dedicated to that first, historic assembly.
Today the Casino building is used for cultural events and it also houses one of Ronda's four library collections. Regular evening Flamenco shows are also held in the patio.
